Final plans are underway for the 2007 Western Maryland Loggers and Forestry Field Day and Equipment Show. This biennial event is the only one of its kind that showcases the forests, forestry and forest products industry of Maryland and the tri-state region. Our tenth show will be held on June 8 & 9, 2007 at the Garrett County Fairgrounds in McHenry.Commercial Exhibit Rates for the 2007 Field Days are listed below:

$150.00 $165.00 $180.00 Exhibitor spaces will be allocated on a "first come, first served" basis. Avoid the late entry fees by returning your contracts, checks, and insurance certificates promptly to ensure a good space.
Exhibitors are grouped according to their type of exhibit, (example: chainsaws , trucks, etc.). Upon receipt of your paperwork, a map will be sent to you to inform you of your exhibit space.

Eleventh Western Maryland Loggers/Forestry Field Day & Equipment Show
Garrett County Fair Grounds, Rte 219, McHenry, MarylandEvent Hours:
Friday, June 8, 2007 from noon to 8 p.m.
Saturday, June 9, 2007 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.This agreement is made between the Maryland Forests Association (MFA) and
______________________________________________________hereinafter call the Exhibitor: in consideration of the mutual covenants herein set forth, MFA and the Exhibitor contract as follows:
1. MFA will permit the Exhibitor to use space designated, subject to the expressed conditions enumerated herein. MFA reserves the right to declare this agreement null or void upon any violation by the Exhibitor of any condition expressed or implied in the Rules and Regulations incorporated herein:
The above described exhibit shall be completed for viewing by 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 8, 2007, and shall remain intact until the close of events on Saturday, June 9, 2007, including any special events that may be scheduled. The Exhibitor may begin construction or installation on June 7, 2007, and agrees to have all materials and equipment removed by Monday, June 11, 2007.
The exhibitor shall not sell or dispense any food or drink, nor permit the sale or distribution of any intoxicating liquors or malt beverages on rented space and premises and shall not do or permit any obnoxious or offensive activity or fraudulent sales or gifts, or any activity endangering any property or persons, nor shall the Exhibitor undertake or allow any activity whatsoever that shall constitute a nuisance as is defined by the laws of Maryland.
All laws, rules, or regulation of the State of Maryland are accepted as aforesaid as part of the agreement and shall be complied with.
MFA's agreement to permit the Exhibitor's use of the space specified above shall be subject to Acts of God or any condition or circumstance beyond control of MFA which shall prevent the carrying out of some or all of MFA's Field Day, and MFA, upon the occurrence of such event, shall have the right to terminate this agreement without liability of any nature.
2. The Exhibitor hereby promises and agrees:
A. To pay MFA the total of $__________ before April 15, 2007. The exhibitor acknowledges that the rate card shows that the rates will increase following the cutoff dates and agrees to pay the amount on the rate card at the time the contract is submitted. It is further agreed by the parties hereto as follows:
B. Neither MFA, nor their guests or employees, shall be liable for any damage to the property of or loss of business to Exhibitor, or any loss of theft, or damage by fire or other means, or for injuries to Exhibitor's employees, agents, customers, or guests, arising from any cause or matter whatsoever, even though occasioned, caused or contributed to by negligence of MFA and their employees and agents. The Exhibitor, on behalf of itself, its employees, and agents, agrees to protect, indemnify, and hold harmless MFA and their employees and agents, from all costs, losses, damages, and expenses, including court costs and attorney fees, and other expenses of litigation arising out of or from any accident or other occurrence in connection with the use or occupation by the Exhibitor of its rental space or general grounds, causing injury to any person or property whomsoever, unless occasioned, caused or contributed to be negligence of the Exhibitor or MFA, or their agents or employees.
C. The Exhibitor shall be responsible for any and all damage to the premises and its property therein, caused by acts of the Exhibitor, its agents, employees, servants, patrons, or guests, whether accidental or otherwise; and the Exhibitor further agrees to leave the property in the same condition as existed when its possession commenced.
D. The Exhibitor warrants that it has in effect and shall maintain for the period of this agreement for the mutual benefit of both parties a policy of general public liability insurance, against claims for the personal injuries or death or damage to property occurring upon, in or about the herein rented premises in limits not less than $200,000 each person, $500,000 each occurrence, bodily injury, and $100,000 each occurrence, property damage.
E. The Exhibitor to whom space has been leased shall not sublease or otherwise permit the use of any portion of that space by any other exhibitor ( only one exhibitor per space).
Proof of liability insurance must be submitted to MFA on or before April 15, 2007. Exhibitors cannot occupy the space reserved until this requirement is fulfilled.
