2007 Competitions

Skidder Pull Competition
Saturday, June 9th beginning at 10 a.m. new time
preregistration is required and may be done on site up until 9 am on June 9th
You must be at least 18 years old to compete.
Must have four entries per call with classes possibly based on the number of entries
Prize levels:
1st - $500
2nd - $300
3rd - $200

Rules:

  • ALL Competitors must be 18 years or older. A form of ID is necessary for registration.
  • Competition will occur by year and horsepower for class divisions
  • Operator and machine must be on the fairgrounds by 9:00 a.m. on June 9 for inspection and to go over the rules of the Skidder Pull .
  • Operator must wear hard hat, ear protection, eye protection and seatbelt.
  • Skidders will enter fairgrounds through WEST Gate.
  • You may arrive any time Friday, June 8, or up to 9 am, June 9 to compete in the Skidder Pull. The gates will be locked on Friday night and security will be provided, though, MFA assumes no liability for equipment left on the fairgrounds. Skidders should be brought in through the South Gate on Rt 219.
  • For each pull, skidders can move up for pulls in classes but not down.
  • Every pull must have a registration form filled out with all information.
  • All forms and $50 registration fees must be received by June 9, 2007 before 9 am.
  • If classes are full, registration could be refused.
  • All contestants will meet at 9:30 am at truck scales near Grandstand to review rules and measure blade.

MFA reserves the right stop any competitor from competing if there is cause to believe the competitor is operating machinery in an unsafe manner.
